Young Count Dracula is bored in his fortress, perched on a cliff in Transylvania. He suddenly gets the idea to take his captives out of his dungeon, to bring them to his giant chessboard, located in the heart of the castle courtyard. The game will then consist of starting a “life-size” chess game with his vampire opponent, replacing the chess pieces with these young ladies, prisoners of the formidable building. Through this merciless game where each move can potentially cost each of them their lives, Dracula, accompanied by his young bride, will seek to convey a message to us about his conception of death, which according to him contains a fundamental spiritual teaching for each and every one of us…
