I am Tanya Fileva, founder and CEO of Break4Movie, the new streaming platform dedicated to independent films, and also organizer of the International IndieCine Expo & Congress.

During this congress, I will have the pleasure of presenting my conference “The Anti-Cabinet: where every work has a chance.”

We will talk about those films that, due to a lack of support or funding, remain locked away in closets, invisible to the public. With Break4Movie, I wanted to create a space where these works can finally come out of the shadows, find their audience, and live their full life as films.

I will share with you why these projects remain forgotten, what we are doing to change the situation, our core values, and our vision for the future. We are sometimes attributed beliefs or intentions that are not our own; this will also be an opportunity to clarify our true mission.

I will also explain how we select films, how they are integrated into the platform, and how the public can discover and watch them.

Break4Movie is about security and respect for creators, but also openness and discovery for the general public. It is the belief that every story deserves a chance, regardless of its origin or means.
