Amalia lives like a hermit in a mansion in Segovia with the only company of a chicken that gives her an egg a day, thanks to which she does not die of hunger. One day she comes across a young beggar who is in worse circumstances than her and decides to pick him up from the street. From that moment on, Amalia’s life will change forever and she will be filled with hope.
