On Saturday September 27, 2025 at 5pm, he will host an exclusive masterclass on his career, his commitments and his vision of the world of entertainment. On this occasion, he will also present his book “Zone Grise / Angle Mort”, an incisive and enlightening account of the excesses of the artistic and audiovisual world.

“Cannes Festival: aren’t the dice loaded?

James Chabert shares his experiences of the 2003 and 2008 Cannes Film Festivals, exploring what goes on behind the scenes at one of the world’s most high-profile film events.

President of the Syndicat des Mannequins Professionnels Associés (SY.M.P.A), founder of the association Casting Info Service (formerly “Stoppons Les Arnaques Aux Castings”), and creator of the Facebook group “Les Arnaques du Spectacle”, James Chabert is renowned for his outspoken, independent and transparent commitment. For over two decades, he has been working to expose abuses in the world of entertainment, sharing sensitive files openly.

This talk will be illustrated by the projection of two mini-clips and an exclusive video of the operation carried out at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008.
James Chabert will then look back on this action, give his analysis of the evolution of the festival and the current quality of French cinema, and conclude by saying
